Association co-organizes expo with CNITA, taking place Oct. 14-16

INDA, the association of the nonwoven fabrics industry, announced it has joined with China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA) to co-organize a new nonwovens event in Asia — the China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum (CINE), Oct. 14-16, in Shanghai, China. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade’s Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT-TEX) and Messe Frankfurt will also help organize the event. CINE will include a trade show at the Shanghai Mart and an international forum/symposium prior to the show. This new event is unique in its sole focus on nonwovens in China while other events in the country also include technical textiles and textile equipment. Event organizers said CINE will be “the most important event in Asia for nonwovens this fall,” and represents an excellent new promotional venue for suppliers of raw materials, machinery and equipment, nonwoven roll or matt goods, converters, consultants, and brand owners. “We are delighted to co-organize this new event in China for nonwovens and to elevate our relationship with CNITA to a strategic alliance where we constructively act together to advance the industry. We encourage all players in our industry to take advantage of this new event to expand their reach to an important and growing market in China,” says Dave Rousse, president of INDA. CNITA is the national association in China representing the nonwovens industry along with technical textiles. CCPIT is the promotional arm of the China Ministry of Textiles with many sub-councils related to various sectors of the greater textile industry. Messe Frankfurt is a professional trade show organizer based in Germany with several shows organized around the world.
